We invite you to celebrate Finland’s Independence Day at The Hotel Maria on December 6th, 2024.
In honour of this occasion, Bar Maria will host a special performance by the versatile soprano and actress Reeta Vestman from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Known for her musical roles and as the lead singer of Husky Rescue, Reeta has also performed with the Kaarti Combo at the Presidential Independence Day reception. Her voice, familiar from festival stages, television, and film, will bring a festive ambiance to The Hotel Maria’s elegant setting. We kindly ask guests to arrive well in advance of the soprano’s performance. After the performance, guests will have the opportunity to watch the Independence Day Reception broadcast on Bar Maria’s screens.
Dress to impress and raise a glass to Finland with our Independence Day Champagne Flight tasting, a selection of three distinct champagnes for €45. To complete your evening, our Garden Terrace is open for reservations with a menu featuring elegant Nordic dishes with ingredients from local Finnish farms and purveyors, as well as elevated international dishes.
